Larger than the State of Maryland, the Netherlands is home to 17.9 million people. It is the 16th most densely populated country in the world. And, in 2022, the Netherlands was ranked the fourth most tech-enabled country in the world according to the Network Readiness Index by the Portulans Institute and Said Business School, University of Oxford. The Netherlands is one of Europe's largest technology hubs, with 2.6 times as many start-ups per one million residents as the European average.

At CES 2024 in Las Vegas, January 9-12, 2024, the Netherlands Pavillion will showcase 70 tech companies spanning start-ups and scale ups from a wide array of sectors including consumer tech, HealthTech and MedTech, wearables, sustainability and circularity, artificial intelligence, photonics, sensors optics and robotics, and the future of work.

CES 2024 will mark the eighth consecutive year the Netherlands has showcased their country's most innovative tech at Eureka Park at the Venetian Expo (Hall G, Booth 62100).

In a press statement, HRH Prince Constantijn van Oranje, Special Envoy, Techleap.nl, said The Netherlands has a storied history of pushing the world towards innovation. "The 70 start-ups and scale-ups participating at CES 2024 represent one of the most exciting delegations. Their tech solutions are ambitious, unconventional, and most of all, focused on a better future for everyone."

Healthtech: Hearables, awareables and assisted technology

BREGGZ is working on a luxury hearable that is a wireless, custom-made in-ear computer with a concert-like audio experience. It has four high-end balanced armature drivers per ear and pinna produced by Knowles.

Evolving consumer trends in wearables have been shifting towards devices that are aware of the user's behavior, whether they wear them or not. NOWATCH's new awareable device manages stress and puts the user in charge of their well-being. AT CES 2024, the company will launch its Chronos designer timepiece faces paired with NOWATCH Insights - an AI-powered companion to the timepiece that adds daily health data into your daily narrative, giving tips to build stress resilience.

Helping people with affected speech, Whispp, which is also a CES Innovation Award Winner, has an AI-powered, real-time assistive voice technology and calling app that converts whispered and affected speech into a person's clear, natural voice.

Changing how needle injections work, FlowBeams has created needle-free injection technology that addresses the shortcomings associated with traditional needle-based methods, including needle phobia, environmental pollution and safety concerns.

Smart appliances and sustainabilityCES Best of Innovation Award winner Sevvy Smart Cooker is reinventing how we cook with low-temperature technology that uses 90% less energy to cook more sustainable and healthier meals in minutes. Low-temperature cooking retains 40% more nutrients with less salt, sugar and cooking fats.

With half of the world's population living in areas facing water scarcity as early as 2025, Genesis Systems has a device that could help address the global water scarcity challenges. The CES Innovation Award winner's IOT-enabled applicance - the WaterCube - can generate up to 100 gallons of water daily from the air's moisture.

Entertainment and hologramsAt CES in the Netherlands Pavillion, visits can interact with Holoconnects' holographic content with their advanced modular hologram system for Google and Android. The company's holographic technology solutions like the Holobox and theHolobox Mini, deliver real-life AI-driven interactive, personal, portable and customizable experiences.

In-home entertainment start-up Displace is showcasing two new wireless TVs to their product line - Displace Flex and Displace Mini. The company debuted its successful 55" 4K TV at CES 2023.

CES Innovation Award winner PhoneCam by SlimDesign will launch its miniaturized AI-powered body camera for consumers that provides personal safety and can help deter violence and unwanted behavior.
