Despite the loss, Red Raiders' Darrion Williams put up an impressive performance, scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The Red Raiders currently hold a 19-8 record and are currently ranked fifth in the Big 12 standings.

Texas recently suffered a road 86-67 loss to the No. 9 ranked Kansas Jayhawks. Tyrese Hunter and Dillion Mitchell were the leading scorers for the Longhorns, each contributing 12 points against the Jayhawks. Texas' difficulties are evident from their current position tied for ninth in the Big 12.

McMillian scored 11 points in the first matchup and had five boards. Texas had 14 turnovers in that first game and I don't expect that to happen again. On the road, they shoot 45.3% from the field and 37% from beyond the arc, so it's not like their numbers completely fall apart away from home."
