The Texas Longhorns will face the Texas Tech Raiders in a Big 12 matchup on Tuesday night.

Texas Tech recently lost their third consecutive road game, falling to UCF 75-61. Despite the loss, Red Raiders' Darrion Williams put up an impressive performance, scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The Red Raiders currently hold a 19-8 record and are currently ranked fifth in the Big 12 standings.

Texas recently suffered a road 86-67 loss to the No. 9 ranked Kansas Jayhawks. Tyrese Hunter and Dillion Mitchell were the leading scorers for the Longhorns, each contributing 12 points against the Jayhawks. Texas' difficulties are evident from their current position tied for ninth in the Big 12.

Here are the current odds and predictions for the Texas Longhorns matchup against the Texas Tech Raiders.

Texas Longhorns vs. Texas Tech Raiders predictions

ESPN: Texas Tech has a 68% chance of winning

According to ESPN's Matchup predictor, the Texas Tech Raiders have a 68.2% chance of beating the Texas Longhorns.

BetMGM: Texas Tech will win

Staff writes: "The winning team model predicts Texas Tech will win this college basketball game with 66.1% confidence, based on game simulations, player injuries, key player performances and recent matchups."

Action Network: Pick Texas Tech

Staff writes: "Ultimately, I'm going with the brilliant McCasland and his home Red Raiders to complete the season sweep. Texas has lost seven of its last eight visits to Lubbock, and despite injuries, I believe Texas Tech remains the better team. Still, the lack of clarity on Washington and McMillian as I write this lowers my confidence in this wager. As a result, proceed with caution, reducing your bet size as you're comfortable."

Winners and Whiners: Pick Texas

Staff writes: "I just think this game means more to Texas than it does to the Red Raiders. Motivation is a huge factor in college basketball and the Longhorns have bounced back with a win after every loss in February.  Texas is also the better rebounding team and the loss of McMillian for the Red Raiders, assuming he doesn't play, is the x-factor in this game. McMillian scored 11 points in the first matchup and had five boards. Texas had 14 turnovers in that first game and I don't expect that to happen again. On the road, they shoot 45.3% from the field and 37% from beyond the arc, so it's not like their numbers completely fall apart away from home."
