Virginia Tech football's homestand continues this weekend with a nonconference clash against Wofford on Saturday.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. ET and limited tickets are still available starting at $50.

Get ready for gameday with five things to know for Tech's clash with the Terriers.

1. Wear white. This Saturday's contest will serve as the Hokies' annual White Effect game. Fans can order this year's T-shirt online, although shipping is not guaranteed prior to gameday, or pick one up on Saturday from the Hokie Shop's trailer in Lot 4.

2. Virginia Tech's unique military ties will be on display. Tech's clash with Wofford will be the program's annual military appreciation game, including a pregame military salute and in-game recognition in partnership with the University's Office of Veteran Services. There will be a pregame contracting ceremony on the field that will see cadets take their oath while the Corps of Cadets will hold its homecoming festivities and join the Highty-Tighties on the field for their pregame show.

3. The HokieBird will be celebrating his birthday. Fans are invited to join in the festivities and help the HokieBird ring in his birthday in style. Hokie Village will open at 8:30 a.m. and include free cupcakes for Hokie Kids' Club members as well as a group sing-along of "Happy Birthday" following the team's arrival at Lane Stadium. The HokieBird will also make an appearance in the upper South end zone during the game, where the celebration will continue as he'll blow out birthday candles.

4. Get there early to park, welcome the team and enjoy pregame festivities. All parking lots will open at 7 a.m., while Beamer Way will close to traffic at 7:30 a.m. The Hokie Walk is set for approximately 8:30 a.m., and Hokie Village opens at the same time before closing at 10:15 a.m. There will be plenty to do at Hokie Village, including live music from the Back Alley II band, food trucks offering coffee, donuts, cupcakes and more, autographs with Tech Men's Basketball at 9:30 a.m. and  interactive activities such as inflatables, cornhole and giant Jenga. The March to Victory will take place at 9:40 a.m. through Lot 5 and in between Lots 2 and 3.

5. Make sure to download your tickets and bring a credit or debit card. Following successful implementation during the 2021 football season, Lane Stadium will continue to be a mobile-first and cashless venue when it comes to ticketing and concessions. Fans are strongly encouraged to get the official HokieSports mobile app and download their tickets to their digital wallet before arriving at the stadium on gameday in order to speed up entry into the venue.

Once inside, only a credit or debit card will be accepted at the concession stands for those wanting to purchase food and drink. There will be a limited number of pre-paid cards available for purchase with cash at the west and south stadium locations.
