The Virginia Tech women's basketball team (20-6, 12-3) returns to the court on Sunday afternoon when they take on the third-ranked Louisville Cardinals (22-3, 13-2).

Tech is coming off a historic performance at Syracuse on Thursday night. Not only did the Hokies win 102-53, to reach 12 ACC wins for the first time ever, they set program records for; most points in a single game in ACC history, largest margin in an ACC game (49) and the 102 points is the most surrendered by the Orange in the Carrier Dome.

Louisville suffered a 66-65 loss at No. 24 North Carolina in their last contest on Thursday night.

Give the Hokies the inside track to the two seed at the ACC Tournament in the first week of March. Tech is battling for a top four finish and a double bye for the first time in their history.
Be Louisville's second loss in a row. The last time that the Cardinals fell in consecutive games was Feb. 9 and Feb. 13 2020 when they lost eight-point games to FSU and at NC State.
