The Red Raiders gave up six home runs, each in the first two innings to fall behind early and were unable to recover.
Payton Jackson put the Red Raiders on the board first, taking the first pitch she saw deep to left center against the wind for a solo home run.
Oklahoma State responded quickly, hitting five home runs in the bottom of the first to take a 12-1 lead.
Four more OSU runs scored in the bottom of the second inning to make it 16-1 Cowgirls. A leadoff home run and a three-RBI single made up the scoring in the inning.
The Red Raiders pushed one run across in the top of the fourth to make it 16-2 with three hits in the inning. Bailey led off the inning with a single, her second of the game and moved to third on a double from Maddie Westmoreland. A double play wiped Westmoreland off the base, but Abbie Orrick singled to center to score Bailey.
Tech blanked the Cowgirls in the third and fourth innings but could not score enough to extend the game past five innings.
The Red Raiders used four pitchers in the game, with Kendall Fritz (11-6) getting the start in the circle. Fritz lasted just one third of an inning before being replaced by Morgan Hornback. Maddie Kuehl came in for Hornback after two batters and Kuehl was relieved by Erna Carlin who would finish the game for the Red Raiders.

- The Red Raiders have now lost 11 straight to the Cowgirls and 15 of the last 16.
- Arriana Villa's reached base streak stretched to 13 games after drawing a walk in the top of the fifth inning.
- Ellie Bailey went 2-for-2 at the plate for the second straight game, scoring one of the Red Raiders two runs.
