BLACKSBURG – Arriving at its first ACC home series of the season this weekend, the Virginia Tech baseball team is eager to announce promotions and gameday experience elements fans can expect when attending the Hokies' three games against Pitt between Friday, March 18, and Sunday, March 20.

SATURDAY, MARCH 19 – MARVEL DAY: RETURN OF THE HAMMER
Fans are invited to dress as their favorite superhero on Saturday when the Hokies celebrate Marvel Day: Return of the Hammer. The best-dressed superhero in attendance will win a prize courtesy of Virginia Tech athletics while the first 500 fans through the gates at English Field will receive a free foam hammer.

At concession stands, fans may purchase and feast on "The Hammer" – a burger topped with coleslaw, a mound of fries and chipotle mayonnaise (all concession stand transactions are cashless and will require a charge card). Throughout the game, fans will also be treated to music from their favorite superhero films and be entertained by a live in-venue emcee.

SUNDAY, MARCH 20 – KIDS RUN THE BASES
Following Sunday's series finale between Tech and Pitt, any and all kids in attendance are invited to run the bases at English Field (weather permitting).

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are required for access to Virginia Tech's five ACC home series this season at English Field, beginning this weekend when the Hokies welcome Pitt to Blacksburg.

Individual tickets are priced at $10 while youth ages 6 to 18 are set at $5 (children ages 5 and under are free). Virginia Tech students receiving tickets through the student lottery portal may also access home games for free.

Upon entry, seating inside English Field is general admission.

CASHLESS TICKETING & CONCESSIONS
All ticket and concessions transactions at English Field are cashless for the duration of the 2022 season (charge cards are required). Fans who do not have access to a debit or credit card should consider purchasing prepaid cards at Kroger in advance of the game, or purchasing gift cards within the ballpark at the Hokie Shop (limited availability).

RETURN FOUL BALLS FOR FREE BACON
Any and all fans who return foul balls to the English Field marketing table will receive a voucher for free bacon courtesy of Smithfield.
